 Her films possess a dynamic rhythm, which she often enhances with raw, authentic locations and studio builds. She boldly mixes a fun quirkiness with deep, witty, thought-provoking metaphors, weaving in hidden meanings beneath the surface. Borbala has directed films for major international brands such as VICE, Pepsi, BMW, FIFA and Hyundai. Born and raised in Budapest, she is currently based in Berlin.
